I have always hated school networks

Okay, so there's a slight problem. The regular undergrad students returned from summer break today, and the school network's security seems to have been beefed up, as I can no longer connect my digital camera and upload pictures. So...there may be a dearth (I hope I spelled that right...I'm trying not to lose my English completely) of pictures until I figure out a way around this. I have more stories, but I also have a quiz in Classical Japanese...in 30 minutes...and I really ought to prep a bit.

Glad to hear/see you're having a great time (minus the picture thing). I only just found out about this blog. It's a pretty good idea. I should translate my French journal entries and blog them somewhere...

Anyway, I hope classes are going well. It's apparent that your host family situation worked out fantastically. Kids are a lot of fun.

As far as the picture thing goes, does your host family have a computer you can use? I mean, seriously, it is Japan. If that falls through, I'm sure there's an internet café somewhere.

Well, I gotta go. Go out and let us know about Japanese nightlife!

Seriously, Sami's right, Nightlife tales would be an excellent read. OR love interests. OR you kicking some ass... any story really works, and keep having fun bro!

Keeping up to date with blogs is a cool and all but don't forget school work!

Explore when you get a chance, and if you are close to a train station and have a day to burn I can tell you all my ol' haunts when I was stationed in Japan. Or better yet, I would show you myself. We shall see if I have the vacation time and the cash flow to do that (good lord I hope so!). How long is your spring semester and how long will you stay after it ends? Perhaps I should send an email with this kind of questions... oh well.
